Tomanová, Anna ; Hrončeková, Ivana (referee) ; Ambrůz, Jan (advisor)
Action focused on an experiment with human physical and psychological balance. Presented work is an experiment based on a week I spent non-stop alone in abandoned factory six meters above the floor balancing on a girder.
Crank Train of a V8 racing engine
Fried, Tomáš ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a crankshaft for a high power racing engine using modern technology. It covers all of the steps from a brief research, design, torsional vibration analysis to fatigue calculation using FEA and MBS models.
The most frequent causes of air traffic controller errors in the process of providing ATS
Čeremetová, Erika ; Vosecký, Slavomír (referee) ; Jonák, Jaroslav (advisor)
In my Master´s thesis I am concerned with the questions of the human factor in air traffic control. The work is mainly focused on the air traffic controller and discusses the influences that directly or indirectly affect the air traffic controller. Considerable attention is paid to the errors that may occur during the management, their analysis and proposals for their elimination, respectively their complete disposal. The main idea is to understand the thinking of the air traffic controller as the human element in an organization and applying theories to reduce the errors in the air traffic control.

I Live Tarot
Oplatková, Hana ; Vondřejcová, Silvie (referee) ; Klímová, Barbora (advisor)
Private deck of cards created during six-month survey and documentation of daily experiences. The package contains 49 cards and it is inspired by a set of 78 tarot cards. Text content - reverse side of the card was created using diary notes. Face side of the card was chosen as a representation of processes taking place usually in days when the card was read.
Aerial platform for flight time measurements
Schneider, Tibor ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis elaborates on creating a mathematical model and realisation of a flying platform. Consequently, it compares results from the mathematical model which simulates flight duration with results which were measured with constructed flying platform. In the first part of the thesis, flying platforms are introduced and also the usability range and what types exist. Matlab was chosen as a language to create the script. In the second part, principle of the matematical model is explained, graphs which explain power influence in UAV movement are presented. There are time dependences of hovering time on different UAV weight, flight distance or outside environment temperature. In the end, there is final comparison of theoretical calculations with measured time values. According to the calculations and measurments, it is more optimal to fly with a speed of 4m/s rather than 1m/s. According to the calculations, distance of 1000m was on the limit, therefore, the measurments were conducted within the range of 600m.
Comparison of body composition and physical level of students of the Military Branch at FTVS UK at the beginning and at the end of their studies.
Gacek, Tomáš ; Sovák, Libor (advisor) ; Oláh, Vladan (referee)
Title: Comparison of body composition and physical level of students of the Military Branch at FTVS UK at the beginning and at the end of their studies. Objective: To evaluate the results from the measurements of the members of the VO FTVS UK at CASRI, what changes occurred in terms of their physical performance and body composition in the beginning and in the end of their studies. Method: Paired t-test was used to analyze the data of members of the VO FTVS UK who successfully completed full-time undergraduate and graduate studies. These were data from 8 males (age 24,3±1,5; weight in kg 79,3±6,1; height in cm 179,5±5,8) and 1 female (age 24; weight in kg 66,9; height in cm 171) from measurements at CASRI, which tested physical level on a stepwise test (on a treadmill) and body composition on the TANITA MC-780. Results: Paired t-test analysis of the data confirmed a statistically significant difference in muscle mass gain (mean difference=3,14 kg; p=0,0007) at the end of the study. On the other hand, during the stepwise test, there was no statistically significant difference in final heart rate (mean difference=0,58; p=0,9394) or lactate levels (mean difference=0,66; p=0,1639). Based on this measurement, it can be concluded that there was no statistically significant deterioration in physical level...
